Section 1 [Expenditures; National Night Out; Law Enforcement Community Events] Authorizes cities, towns, counties, and school districts to spend money on National Night Out events held in their own jurisdictions.

Authorizes cities, towns, counties, and school districts to spend money on any event that will foster positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.

Unless otherwise prohibited by law, cities, towns, counties, and school districts may raise funds for these events.
