Section 1 [Feasibility Study on Partnerships to Provide Interim Housing for Disabled Veterans] requires the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs to study the feasibility of partnering with a nonprofit organization to provide interim housing for disabled veterans in conjunction with support services. Requires the commissioner to report the results of the study to the legislature by February 15, 2017.
Section 2 [Appropriation] appropriates $250,000 in fiscal year 2017 from the general fund to the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs for the feasibility study in section 1.
