S.F. 2280 modifies special legislation passed in 2014 that authorized the city of Maple Grove to establish tax increment financing districts within a designated project area.  The proposal modifies the project area description, and allows increment generated from a soil deficiency district to be used to acquire land outside the district, but within the project area, and for infrastructure costs outside the district but also within the project area.

Effective upon approval by the governing body of the city of Maple Grove with approval and filing requirements.
