Section 1, Subdivision 1. Staff development revenue for school districts.  Modifies the headnote to specify that this subdivision refers to staff development revenue reserved for school districts.

Section 2, Subdivision 1a. Staff development aid for intermediate school districts and other cooperative units. Establishes a staff development aid formula. Eligibility for this aid is limited to intermediate school districts and cooperative units that provide instruction in separate schools specific for students with disabilities. Aid for staff development is equal to $1,000 times the number of full-time equivalent licensed instructional staff and nonlicensed classroom aides. Specifies eligible uses of aid.

Section 3. Appropriation.  Appropriates money for staff development aid for intermediate school districts and other cooperative units.
