S.F. 2330 builds on legislation passed in 2015 (Laws 2015, Chapter 62/S.F. 1215) by adding additional flame-retardant chemicals to the list of flame-retardant chemicals prohibited in certain products after the dates provided.
Section 1, subdivision 2 adds a definition for "residential textile" and is defined as a textile that is designed for home use or in places of lodging as covering on windows, walls, or floors, and includes carpeting and carpeting padding.
Subdivision 2 includes residential textiles and mattresses in the items to which the flame-retardant chemical prohibition applies. Adds the following chemicals to the list of prohibited flame-retardant chemicals:

tetrabromobisphenol A, Chemical Abstracts Service number 79-94-7;

antimony trioxide, Chemical Abstracts Service number 1309-64-4;

tetrabromo phthalate (TBPH), Chemical Abstract Service number 26040-51-7;

tetrabromo benzoate (TBB), Chemical Abstract Service number 183658-27-7;

chlorinated paraffins, Chemical Abstract Service number 85535-84-8; and
-
tris(1-chloro-2-propyl)phospate (TCPP), Chemical Abstract Service Number 13674-84-5.
