S.F. No. 2386 - Corridors of Commerce Program Eligibility Requirements Modification

Author: Senator D. Scott Dibble

Prepared By: Krista Boyd, Senate Fiscal Analyst (651/296-7681)

Date: March 15, 2016

This bill modifies eligibility requirements for Corridors of Commerce highway projects, by adding “within a city” as an eligible location for candidate projects outside of the Department of Transportation’s metropolitan district.

Under current law, a project outside of the metropolitan district is only eligible for funding under the Corridors of Commerce program if it is located “on an interregional corridor.”
