In 2014, laws were enacted to provide expedited and temporary licensing for veterans for a number of licensed professions.  This bill makes temporary and expedited licensing available to veterans for the following additional licensed professions:

Section 1:  Optometrist

Section 2: Dietician and Nutritionist

Section 3: Marriage and Family Therapist

Section 4: Professional Counselor

Section 5: Clinical Counselor

Section 6: Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Sections 7 and 8: Podiatrist

The bill also makes conforming changes, in Section 9, for the temporary and expedited licenses for barbers, enacted last year (Laws 2014, chapter 312).
