S.F. No. 505 modifies the Maltreatment of Minors Act by striking a provision passed last session, prohibiting the use of screened-out maltreatment reports for any purpose other than to offer social services to the subjects of the report.
The author’s A-1 amendment makes this bill effective the day following final enactment.
