        This bill modifies the personal needs allowance that is paid to individuals who are receiving medical assistance and living in a skilled nursing home, intermediate care facility, or medical institution.  The bill requires that the personal needs allowance be increased to include income garnished for spousal maintenance, and any administrative fees garnished for collection efforts.
