|
Section 1 provides that if a new sales tax in the metropolitan area is imposed by 2013 legislation, $2.5 million is annually appropriated to the Metropolitan Council from the sales tax revenues to subsidize transit passes for regular route service under an agreement with a school district. This section is effective July 1, 2013.
Section 2 is a revisor instruction to codify the annual appropriation in section 1 if the tax is enacted. This section is effective July 1, 2013.
