Section 1 (Air carrier employees) eliminates overtime payment requirements to certain air carrier employees when an air carrier employee works over 48 hours in a workweek that is not required by the employer, but arranged by voluntary agreement among employees to trade schedules.

This section is effective the day following final enactment.
