Section 1 (144A.073) adds a new subdivision that allows the Department of Health to approve an exemption to the nursing facility moratorium if the full annualized share of Medical Assistance costs does not exceed $1.5 million.
 

Section 2 repeals 144A.073, subdivision 9 related to Department of Human Services biennial budget request requirements for the nursing facility moratorium exception process.
