Section 1. Revisions and reviews required.  Allows a student to take a career and technical education course for credit toward their science credit requirement beginning in the 2014-2015 school year.

Section 2. Career and technical levy.  Modifies the calculation for the career and technical education levy to be the greater of the amount generated by (1) multiplying $80 times the full-time equivalents in career and technical education program in ninth through twelfth grades; or (2) 35 percent of the program expenditures.

Effective Date.  Makes this section effective for taxes payable in 2012 and later.
