This bill authorizes the City of Bloomington and the Bloomington Port Authority to extend the duration of TIF District 1-G (containing the former Met Center property) and a portion of 1-C, through December 31, 2038. Absent an extension, the district must decertify in 2018.
This bill is effective upon compliance of Bloomington’s governing body and compliance with statutory notice requirements.
