Section 1County publication of the notice and list of delinquent real property is published in a qualified newspaper instead of a designated newspaper.

Section 2.  A reference to a provision repealed by the bill is removed in the section regarding the alcohol enforcement account.

Section 3The chapter on qualified newspapers applies to all political subdivisions in the state, instead of specified provisions of the chapter.

Section 4. The requirement that a county separately publish a resolution setting the salary and per diem payment schedule is removed.

Section 5.  The duties of the Ramsey County Community Corrections Department are changed to cross-reference the general law on community corrections.  

Section 6.  Unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement, the aggregate value of certain benefits covered by a collective bargaining agreement must not be reduced.

Section 7.  The following sections of Minnesota Statutes, are repealed:

  •  279.07-.08: bid process for county publication of delinquent real estate taxes lists;
  • 340A.403, subdivision 4: notice to the commissioner of public safety when municipality issues 3.2 percent malt liquor license;
  • 382.265: county officer in need of additional clerks to petition the county board;
  • 383A.404:  Ramsey County Community Corrections Department duties; and
  • 395.14-.24: seed and feed loan program.
