Section 1 (256B.0625, subdivision 19a; Personal care assistance services.) strikes language that made persons with one activity of daily living (ADL) dependency ineligible for personal care assistance (PCA) services effective July 1, 2011.
Section 2 (256B.0652, subdivision 6; Authorization; personal care assistance and qualified professional.) applies the existing home care rating system to PCA services recipients with two or more ADL dependencies, and sets home care rating PCA services recipients with one ADL dependency or Level I behavior to no more than two units per day.
