Section 1 is a conforming change.

Sections 2 to 4 provide definitions for purposes of the bill.

Section 5 prohibits an individual from installing satellite broadcast systems unless the person is an employee of a licensed contractor and the individual provides specified certification and passes an examination. Certified individuals are prohibited from performing other functions under a limited power technician license. Fees and continuing education are provided for.

Section 6 and 7 are conforming changes.

Section 8 makes the act effective October 1, 2012.
