S.F. 710 requires an increase in the consumer-directed community supports budget methodology for adults who cannot access school due to graduation or age.
Section 1 (256B.0916, subdivision 6a) requires an increase in the consumer-directed community supports budget methodology for adults on the developmental disabilities waiver program who cannot access school due to graduation or age. The increase must vary based on the participants' service needs. The increase is effective from October 1, 2009, to June 30, 2011.
Section 2 (256B.49, subdivision 16) requires the same increase for adults in the waiver programs for persons with disabilities.
Section 3 requires the Commissioner of Human Services to report by February 15, 2011, on the fiscal impact of the budget methodology changes.
