S.F. No. 635 eliminates certain Medical Assistance (MA) hospital ratable reductions, effective July 1, 2007.

Section 1 (256.969, subdivision 3a) eliminates MA ratable reductions for inpatient hospital services of .5 percent, adopted in 2002; five percent, adopted in 2003; and six percent, adopted in 2005. Payments under General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC) or to managed care plans are not affected by this section.

Section 2 (256B.75) eliminates MA ratable reductions for outpatient hospital facility fee services of .5 percent, adopted in 2002, and five percent, adopted in 2003. Payments under GAMC are not affected.

Section 3 is an appropriations section.
