S.F. No. 233 authorizes the Board of Nursing to revoke a temporary permit if the applicant is the subject of an investigation or disciplinary action or disqualified for any other reason, to release certain information regarding action by the Board, and prohibits the use of the title of "nurse" unless licensed to practice professional or practical nursing.

Section 1 [148.212, subd. 2] authorizes the Board of Nursing to revoke a temporary permit if the applicant is the subject of an investigation or disciplinary action or is disqualified for any other reason.

Section 2 [148.212, subd. 3] authorizes the Board to release information regarding any action taken by the Board in terms of the issuance or the revocation of a temporary permit.

Section 3 [148.281, subd. 1] prohibits the use of the professional title "nurse" unless licensed to practice professional or practical nursing, except as authorized by the Board by rule.
