S.F. No. 152 - Help America Vote Act Account

S.F. No. 152 creates an account in the state treasury to keep track of amounts received from the federal government under the Help America Vote Act, Pub. L. 107-252, 116 Stat. 1666 (Oct. 29, 2002). Amounts appropriated by the state to match the federal money would likewise be transferred to the account. Money in the account would be appropriated to the Secretary of State to improve election administration, as required by the Help America Vote Act.
