S.F. No. 148 increases requirements for reporting contributions and expenditures in local elections. It lowers the threshold for a candidate or committee to be required to report contributions or expenditures from $750 to $100 per year. It requires the report of expenditures to include the amount of each expenditure, and it requires the report of contributions to include the address and employer of each contributor. Finally, it lowers the threshold for reporting individual contributions from $500 to $100 per year.
