The Secretary of the Senate, Human Resources
Office, functions under the jurisdiction of the Committee on Rules
and Administration, under the direction of the Secretary of the Senate.
The Senate Human Resources Office provides leadership to all facets of
human resources including policy development, staffing, employee
relations, orientation, and training.

The Human Resources Office performs the following duties:
- Assists the Rules and Administration Personnel Subcommittee in regard to employment and compensation issues including policy development
- Administers Senate Performance Appraisal System
- Compiles and posts job opportunities
- Develops employee orientation and training programs
