The Youth Advisory Council will be invited to pre session hearings regarding the Proposed Social Studies and Science standards. In addition they will meet approximately 2-3 times during the session to debate various education issues. The Council will be comprised of 21 students 10 students nominated by Education Committee members, 8 students representing each congressional district and 3 additional selected by the chair.
